In the heart of Shenzhen, one of China’s most dynamic and innovative cities, the Mixcity Dachong shopping center represents an architectural excellence capable of combining functionality and style. The spacious luminous interiors and minimalist design are reinforced by the use of Agglotech Venetian-style terrazzo, chosen for its material elegance and its ability to give distinctive identity to the interiors.
The project stands out for the refinement of details and the visual continuity created by terrazzo surfaces, which amplify the perception of light and spatiality. In collaboration with the designers, Agglotech developed two completely customized colorings to meet the aesthetic and technical requirements of the shopping complex.
CUSTOM - REG 2725 - REG 2788
The two tones created for the project, REG 2725 and REG 2788, interpret two distinct visions of elegance. The first, light and delicate, defines most of the interior areas, accompanying visitors’ experience in a harmonious and luminous environment. The flooring, made with a white base and fine marble granules of various colors, creates a sophisticated and welcoming effect.
To articulate delineate specific areas and give greater architectural depth, a second, darker coloring was developed, with white marble chips distributed in a grey cement base. The contrast between the two colors generates an elegant and dynamic visual dialogue, in perfect harmony with the modern spirit of the complex.
The polished finish applied to the surfaces enhances the aesthetic value of the terrazzo, reflecting natural light and giving brilliance and visual continuity to the spaces. With this project, Agglotech confirms once again its ability to combine Italian craftsmanship and international design, offering materials that combine aesthetics, durability and timeless quality.
