In the heart of the central business district of Frankfurt am Main, in Marieninsel, stands the Marienturm, a tower that interprets the refined interaction between architecture and interior design. The studio Thomas Müller Ivan Reimann Architekten and interior designer Patricia Urquiola chose Agglotech marble cement terrazzo for the internal flooring covering and for selected walls, a solution that contributed to defining the tower’s unique identity.
SB 130 Aggloceppo
Located in the heart of Frankfurt’s Central Business District, the Marienturm stands out as a new landmark on the German skyline, offering innovative and multifunctional workspaces. The tower houses offices, conference rooms, restaurants, cafeteria, kindergarten, fitness areas and a panoramic terrace, embodying a cosmopolitan and future-oriented concept.
The interior spaces have been enhanced by Agglotech terrazzo in the SB 130 Aggloceppo colorway, which highlights the naturalness of the surrounding materials. Wood, stone, metal and marble featuring with variegated marble aggregate distributed over an elegant light gray background, creating dynamic and luminous surfaces. The result is a design that reflects the perfect harmony between work and nature, further enriched by the imposing wooden wall composed of three-dimensional blocks that give depth and movement to the spaces.
