Agglotech provided its own Venetian terrazzo for the cladding of the new headquarters of Yangtze River Delta Investment, located in the modern Shanghai Technology Campus, a complex that hosts over 200 domestic and international IT companies. The company, driving the development of the entire district, envisioned wanted its headquarters to reflect as a project that embodying innovation, sustainability and cutting-edge design.
Designed and developed by the German studio gmp Architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners, the building reflects the essence of modern technology, with spacious and luminous environments where natural materials and refined surfaces blend together to create a strong visual balance with high impact.
SB 100 Bianco - SB 102 Grigio Chiaro
For the new Yangtze River Delta Investment headquarters, Agglotech supplied two colors from the Unico line: SB 100 Bianco and SB 102 Grigio Chiaro. The first, bright and light, features a white cement base enriched with medium-sized Carrara marble flakes, while the second is distinguished by fine and light marble chippings on a cement gray background.
The combination of the two materials creates a refined play of contrasts between light and dark, able to keep allowing light to remain as the protagonist of the space and enhance the architectural volumes of the building. The terrazzo surfaces thus help shape to creating an elegant and contemporary atmosphere, consistent with the technological and innovative image of the campus.
