WASHINGTON BUILDING
Terrazzo by Agglotech
Milan, Italy
Washington Building is a modern residential complex in the heart of Milan, designed to offer contemporary and elegant spaces. Within this project, which also includes a spa and swimming pool, Agglotech terrazzo was selected as a key material for flooring and claddings, enhancing both the architectural language and quality of the interiors.
Built on the site of the former Borletti factory, in the Porta Vercellina district, Washington Building brings together the original industrial heritage of Via Gessi with the new architecture of Via Antonio Cecchi and Via Costanza. The result is a refined and welcoming residential oasis, where terrazzo creates material continuity across the various common areas and wellness zones.
SB 130 Aggloceppo
For Washington Building, Agglotech created Venetian-style terrazzo surfaces in the SB 130 Aggloceppo color, used for lobby flooring and claddings, pathways, spa and swimming pool area. This shade, delicate and natural, blends with the surrounding architectural materials and elevates the contemporary character of the complex.
The neutral gray background, enriched with marble granulates of different sizes and colors, gives lends the spaces an elegant and orderly appearance, easy to combine with metal finishes, wood and fabrics. Beyond the aesthetic impact, the SB 130 Aggloceppo terrazzo ensures technical performance suitable for high-end residential spaces, guaranteeing durability, ease of maintenance and everyday comfort of use.
