VALENTINO STORE
Terrazzo by Agglotech
Florence, Italy
Florence, a symbol of Italian fashion, welcomes a new Valentino boutique where elegance and refinement come to life using an exquisite Agglotech Venetian style terrazzo, an absolute centerpiece of the interior. The custom-made material reinforces the sophisticated atmosphere, reflecting the consistent with the maison’s aesthetic identity and architectural language.
CUSTOM - REG 1712
The new Valentino store in Florence occupies two floors within a historic 18th-century building, adjacent to the Church of Santa Trinità. Like all Valentino flagship stores worldwide, the project bears the signature of the David Chipperfield Architects studio, renowned for its formal rigor and modernity.
The stylistic concept, consistent across the brand’s boutiques, finds in Agglotech terrazzo the central design element. From walls to stairs, through to internal cladding, every surface expresses perfect harmony between tradition and contemporaneity.
Agglotech, official partner of the maison, studied and created the REG 1712 terrazzo, an exclusive coloration that has now become iconic for Valentino: a velvety gray with white marble flakes, elegant and luminous, capable of enhancing the purity of forms and the sobriety of the space.
Thanks to advanced block production technology and subsequent slab cutting, Agglotech also created unique and unrepeatable terrazzo furnishing elements, maintaining the stylistic consistency that characterizes all the maison’s stores.
With this project, Agglotech consolidates its collaboration with Valentino, offering an example of high-quality Italian design, where matter, light and architecture merge in timeless elegance.
