VALENTINO STORE
Terrazzo by Agglotech

London, United Kingdom

In the heart of Old Bond Street, one of the most prestigious and iconic streets in central London, stands the new Valentino flagship store, a symbol of elegance, luxury and contemporary design. The project, signed by the renowned architect David Chipperfield, continues the collaboration between Agglotech and the Italian maison for the realization of the brand’s new international retail spaces.
As in all Valentino project, Agglotech’s Venetian-style terrazzo plays a central role is the absolute protagonist, interpreting the brand’s aesthetic identity with a noble, refined and historically rich material. The London boutique extends over four retail floors, a basement dedicated to storage and an upper level for offices, for a total of over 540 square meters of surface area, where terrazzo coherently defines every space.

CUSTOM - REG 1712

For the London project, Agglotech conceived and created the REG 1712 coloring, an exclusive version of its terrazzo in marble and cement, developed in close collaboration with David Chipperfield and Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of the maison. White marble flakes immersed in a gray cement base give life to a luminous and refined surface, capable of enhancing the balance between minimalism and luxury that characterizes Valentino’s aesthetic.
Agglotech terrazzo was used for floors, wall and column cladding, as well as for the external façade and for some custom-made furnishing elements, conferring uniformity and harmony to the entire space. Every Valentino boutique in the world is distinguished by an exclusive terrazzo, conceived to dialogue with the city that hosts it and with the brand’s identity, creating unique spaces where natural materials and contemporary design meet.
Once again, Agglotech confirms its ability to combine Italian craftsmanship, innovation and aesthetic research, transforming matter into a distinctive sign of Valentino’s international architectural language.
