TOKIWABASHI TOWER
Terrazzo by Agglotech

Tokyo, Japan

The Tokiwabashi Tower, 212 meters high and with over 140,000 square meters of surface area, is one of the symbols of urban renewal in Tokyo. The imposing structure, which houses offices and shops, combines essential architectural lines and precious materials. In this context, Agglotech contributed with its own terrazzo cladding, capable of adding depth and refinement to the tower’s minimal, contemporary style.

SB 143 Bianco Carrara 25 - SB 240 Torcello

The project called for the use of two colorations: SB 143 Bianco Carrara 25, a luminous and brilliant terrazzo with precious Carrara marble aggregate, and SB 240 Torcello, characterized by a gray base with large white marble flakes.
The combination of these surfaces created scenographic geometries that enhance the vertical walls, highlighting the versatility and applicative ductility of Agglotech terrazzo. The result is a design that harmoniously blends tradition and modernity, expressing elegance, resistance and visual continuity.
Marble value, natural nuances and stylistic refinement define the essential and evocative mood of Tokiwabashi Tower, an emblematic example of Agglotech terrazzo’s ability to adapt to large-scale international architectural projects.
