Main Performance Features

  • Classified S2 according to EN 12004 standard
  • Open time exceeding 30 minutes
  • Excellent initial adhesion and extended workability
  • High mechanical resistance and flexibility

Composition

White powder adhesive based on high-strength cements, strongly formulated with elasticizing resins and special additives that make it highly deformable (S2) when mechanically stressed. Ideal for terrazzo and other cement-based composite materials.

Preparation and Installation Method

Agglofix® should be prepared by mixing 20 kg of product with 4.5 – 4.9 litres of water (22.5% – 24.5%), using a low-speed drill. After approximately 5 minutes of rest, the adhesive is ready for use. .
For effective and lasting installation, it is essential to follow some guidelines:
  • Check the substrate, which must be planar, stable and free from dust or residue
  • Apply the adhesive with a notched trowel, preferably using the “buttering floating” technique on both surfaces
  • Avoid irregular or excessive thicknesses, distributing the product uniformly
  • Respect open times indicated by the manufacturer to ensure proper adhesion
  • Check environmental conditions, working at appropriate temperatures and humidity
  • Provide expansion joints, in line with applicable technical regulations

Indicative coverage

  • 8 mm trowel: 4 – 4.5 kg/m²
  • 10 mm trowel: 5 – 6 kg/m²
  • With double spreading: up to 8 kg/m²

Recommended applications

  • Terrazzo floors and coverings
  • Prefabricated stairs and baseboards
  • Solid panels and custom surfaces
