PENHALIGON’S STORE
Terrazzo by Agglotech
London, Great Britain
In the heart of London, the Penhaligon’s boutique, the historic British fragrance house founded in 1872 by William Henry Penhaligon, celebrates the meeting between English craftsmanship and Italian expertise. For this such an iconic brand, known for its classic and sophisticated style, Agglotech created a bespoke Venetian-style terrazzo flooring designed to reflect the brand’s elegance and timeless character.
Marble cement terrazzo becomes the centerpiece of the interiors, engaging in a harmonious dialogue with the wooden and brass furnishings and the refined atmosphere of the store.
SB 1000 Thassos – SB 151 Zinco – SB 148 Grafite
For the Penhaligon’s Store London project, Agglotech supplied three colorations: SB 1000 Thassos, a brilliant white obtained with Thassos marble chips on a light cement base, SB 151 Zinco, a medium-intensity smoke grey, and SB 148 Grafite, a deeper and more decisive grey. The combination of these three shades made it possible to create a flooring with three-dimensional geometric design, original and refined, that brings movement and personality to the environment.
The Agglotech micro terrazzo, characterized by very fine marble chips and evenly distributed, guarantees a compact, elegant, and resistant surface, ideal for prestigious commercial spaces.
This project represents a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, where the artisanal processing of Venetian-style terrazzo meets the precision of modern production technologies. The result is a flooring of eternal charm, symbol of style, quality, and identity, much like the timeless fragrances of Penhaligon’s.
