GEORG JENSEN
Terrazzo by Agglotech
Munich, Germany
In the heart of Munich, Bavaria, the Georg Jensen boutique designed by architect David Thulstrup expresses a refined balance between cutting-edge design and natural materials.
The project, dedicated to the renowned Danish jewelry brand, reinterprets its signature through the skillful use of Agglotech’s Venetian terrazzo. The material was selected not only for the interior and exterior coverings but also for custom architectural elements.
The space, featuring clean lines and geometric nods to Art Deco, the space is rendered even more luminous and welcoming thanks to the light and textured shades of cement marble terrazzo, seamlessly blending with the which dialogue with metal details and the transparency of the furnishings.
SB 102 Grigio Chiaro - SB 124 Grigio Rotondo
For this project, architect David Thulstrup selected two Agglotech terrazzo colorways, capable of combining elegance and functionality: SB 102 Grigio Chiaro, used for flooring, and SB 124 Grigio Rotondo, used for coverings.
SB 102 Light Grey stands out for its lighter tone and fine, (delete and)and homogeneous aggregate, ideal for continuous and luminous surfaces. SB 124 Grey Round, on the other hand, features a warm grey cementitious base with medium and large-sized marble aggregates, landing depth and a natural, vibrant texture.
Both finishes express Agglotech’s ability to offer customized solutions consistent with the brand’s visual identity, thanks to a material that combines refinement, durability, and authenticity. The terrazzo was also used for the creation of solid elements, such as the reception desks and the lower part of the display cases, as a testament to its design versatility and the artisanal value that defines every Agglotech creation.
