Agglotech’s Architectural Terrazzo is essentially a marble and cement aggregate, composed of:
1. Marble chips (aggregates)
2. Portland cement
3. Water

These natural elements are mixed and cold-worked without the addition of synthetic resins to form massive blocks from which slabs, floors, cladding, stairs and custom special pieces are obtained.

Every block becomes a project, every slab is the result of a unique process in the international panorama.

Venetian terrazzo

Terrazzo was born in Venice in the 15th century as an economical, elegant and durable flooring. Terrazzo masters created continuous surfaces starting from marble fragments and lime, creating a decorative solution that made the history of Italian design. A continuous and resistant solution that over centuries has paved palaces, basilicas, theaters.

Agglotech recovers its spirit with an innovative production technology, capable of making that ancient material suitable for modern projects such as airports, universities, offices, hotels and boutiques around the world.

Each block measures up to 3.3 x 1.35 m and can be cut into slabs of varying thickness, or worked in solid form to obtain custom pieces such as stairs, countertops, architectural elements or design objects.
The entire process is monitored and traced according to EN 13748 standard.
