BENETTON STORE
Terrazzo by Agglotech

London, England

In the heart of London, the new United Colors of Benetton flagship store represents a perfect combination of architectural innovation and Italian craftsmanship. Agglotech was personally selected by the client to create the flooring and monumental helical staircase, delivering a project that combines aesthetics, technique and sustainability.
From the initial concept onward, Agglotech collaborated with the architectural studio and the final client through an extensive mockup process and project development, defining tailored solutions to ensure visual continuity and material perfection.

SB 143 Bianco Carrara 25 – SB 178 Bianco Carrara 09

For the Benetton Store in London project, two colorations from the Agglotech range were chosen: SB 143 Bianco Carrara 24 and SB 178 Bianchi Carrara 09, both characterized by a neutral cement base enhanced by Bianco Carrara marble chips. The combination of these two shades creates a sense of depth and movement, enhancing natural light and the dynamic spaces of the retail point.
One of the client’s key requirements was to minimize the visibility of joints between the slabs. To achieve this, meet this requirement, Agglotech carried out on site a polishing of the terrazzo directly on-site, resulting in a uniform and continuous surface of great visual impact.
An iconic feature of the project is the helical staircase, entirely fabricated in Agglotech facilities. The metal skeleton was completely clad in Venetian-style terrazzo, including the back of the steps, thanks to a Fischer FZP fixing system that guarantees precision and stability.
This project serves as a prime example of how Agglotech terrazzo can adapt to the most intricate technical challenges, delivering an exceptional blend between design, durability and Italian artisanal quality.
