Terrazzo by Agglotech

In the heart of Regent Street, in London, the Arcade project has given new life to a historic building of cultural interest, transforming it into a contemporary retail destination capable of combining history and modernity. The renovation has preserved the distinctive features of the original architecture while updating the spaces with a more contemporary design. Winner of the New London Awards 2019 in the Retail category, Arcade represents a virtuous example of urban regeneration.

One of the key elements of the renovation was the new terrazzo tiled floor, created by Agglotech in collaboration with InOpera Group, exclusive distributor for the United Kingdom. Architect Barr Gazetas designed a renewed and highly impactful entrance, achieved through Agglotech terrazzo in the colors SB 153 Ecru, SB 138 Ice and SB 148 Graphite.
Agglotech’s cement marble terrazzo, installed with a special non-slip finish compliant with strict English standards, combines elegance, durability and functionality. Thanks to its versatility and high technical performance, it is confirmed as a solution appreciated by architects and designers, ideal for both historic restorations and modern projects.
