HOTEL PASSO SELLA
Terrazzo by Agglotech
Val Gardena, Italy
In the heart of the Dolomites, at over 2000 meters altitude, stands Hotel Passo Sella Dolomiti Mountain Resort, an elegant mountain retreat where architecture and nature coexist in perfect harmony.
In collaboration with Sevis, a Trentino-based company supplying Dolomite Stone, Agglotech developed a completely custom-made Venetian-style terrazzo for the hotel’s external flooring and stairs, with a design engineered to withstand the most extreme climate conditions.
REG 1271
For this project, Agglotech created a unique color, REG 1271, characterized by the use of Dolomite Stone replacing traditional marble granulates.
The result is a light gray-toned surface that, in sunlight, takes on rosy reflections, evoking the natural hues of the surrounding mountains.

Finished with a brushed treatment, the terrazzo ensures high grip and is classified R13 according to anti-slip standards, making it ideal for external flooring and mountain environment. Beyond resistance to foot traffic and atmospheric agents, it guarantees ensures long durability even in presence of when exposed to harsh temperatures and anti-freeze treatments.
An excellent example of how Agglotech’s material research and customization can blend innovation, tradition and alpine landscape into a single design solution.
