For the new Aēsop store in Taichung, Agglotech supplied, in collaboration with local partner Winnie Stone, terrazzo flooring and furnishings in marble cement. Aēsop stores are recognized internationally for their essential design and meticulous attention to material selection, qualities that find an ideal expression in Agglotech terrazzo.
SB 130 Aggloceppo
For this project, the SB 130 Aggloceppo color was selected, an elegant grey highly appreciated in the contemporary design world. The terrazzo was used both for flooring and for solid furnishings, such as reception desks, shelving, walls, and columns.
The terrazzo blocks, sent from Italy, were worked and shaped on-site by Winnie Stone, according to the designers’ requirements, confirming the versatility of Agglotech material, which allows for the creation of customized elements in tailor-made shapes and thicknesses.
